violinist
Haik Kazazian is a prize-winner of many international competitions, including
the international H. Wieniawski competition in Poland in 2001, the
international P.I. Tchaikovsky competition in Moscow in 2002 , the
International violin competition in Sion-Valais (Switzerland) in 2004 and the
‘Long-Thibaud’ competition in 2005. In 2007 Haik won First prize prize at the
International violin competition in South Korea.
He studied at master classes with Shlom Mintz, Ida Haendel and others,
participated in summer courses and festivals in Keshet Eilon(Israel), Aspen
music festival, Verbier festival. From 2006 to 2008 Haik studied at Royal
College of music in London with professor I.Rashkovsky. Since 2002 he is a
soloist of Moscow Philharmonic Society.
He has performed with Scottish Royal Orchestra, Russian Chamber Orchestra and
Russian National Orchestra, Prague Philharmonic orchestra, Dublin National
Orchestra and others. He has worked with such conductors as Andrew Litton,
Constantine
Orbelian, Alexander Lazarev, Jac van Steen, Pavel Kogan, Alexander
Polianichko, Alan Buribayev and others.
Haik has performed in many festivals like ‘Festival de musique’ of Sh.
Mintz,(Switzerland), festival in Verbier, ‘Arts square’ of Yu. Temirkanov
(S.-Petersburg), ‘Moscow Kremlin’ ,Primavera Classica’(Moscow) and many others,
at such venues as
‘Carnegie Hall’(Stern Auditorium) in New-York, in Great, Small and Rakhmaninov
Halls of Moscow Conservatory, at the Tchaikovsky hall(Moscow), Victoria hall in
Geneve, Barbican Hall and Wigmore Hall in London, ‘Usher Hall’ in Edinburgh,
etc. He has performed in the USA, England, Scottland, Ireland , Germany, Poland,
France, Switzerland, Israel and many other places.
