Mohamed Shams-Eldin

Shams appeared as soloist with Cairo Symphony Orchestra, Cairo Opera Orchestra,
Cairo Conservatory Orchestra, London Chamber Players, Repertory Symphony
Orchestra, BMC Orchestra, The Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra and University of
Bonn Orchestra. His chamber music and recital activities are manifold and
include appearances at the American University in Cairo, Cairo Opera house, and
the Manasterly Palace, as well as in Hungary, Italy and the United States.
His recent engagements include the Beethoven Festival in Bonn 2007, where he
performed Beethoven’s piano concerto No.3 at Beethoven Hall with the Cairo
Conservatoire Orchestra conducted by Peter Gulke. His performance was received
by excellent reviews by the German press.
More recently, Mr. Shams took part as a soloist in the Royal Philharmonic
Orchestra's tour to Egypt playing Mozart's Concerto No. 9.
And in April Mr. Shams performed Rachmaninoff’s piano Concerto No.3 with Cairo
Symphony Orchestra which was received with great success by both audience and
press.
